Capability Developer - Client Service Delivery | Kirikiriroa | Waikato Region

We’re looking for Capability Developers to help grow the skills, confidence, and professionalism of our frontline teams across the Waikato Region — the people who make a real difference for New Zealanders every day.

 

This role supports the Waikato Region. Your home location is based in Kirikiriroa but you’ll travel across the Waikato region to deliver learning and capability development where it’s needed most.

 

 

About the role | Mō te tūnga

 

 

As a Capability Developer, you’ll be a key driver of MSD’s workforce development across Waikato. Your purpose is to build practice capability for frontline staff — Case Managers, Work Brokers and others — ensuring they deliver excellent outcomes for individuals, whānau and communities.

 

This is more than classroom training. You will:

•    Assess learning needs and translate them into practical development plans
•    Design and deliver adult-learning solutions — workshops, on-the-job coaching, and micro-learning
•    Provide one-to-one coaching and targeted feedback to lift performance
•    Evaluate learning impact and feed insights into continuous improvement

•    Deliver effective adult-learning solutions tailored to staff and service-centre needs
•    Coach individuals and teams to build confidence and capability
•    Measure learning outcomes and recommend improvements
•    Maintain accurate learning and performance records
•    Collaborate across regions to strengthen the client experience
•    Travel within your area in a fully mobile role

 

What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga

 


•    Proven experience in capability development, coaching, or learning facilitation
•    Minimum two years’ experience delivering adult learning
•    NZ Certificate in Adult Teaching Level 5 (highly desirable) 
•    Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
•    Experience measuring learning effectiveness and embedding continuous improvement
•    This is a mobile role with travel across your region (requires a full NZ driver licence)

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $79,200.00 - $95,873.00
