We have a rewarding opportunity for a strategic and forward-thinking advisor to join our Regional Leadership Team as Regional Commissioner Advisor.
Based in Whangārei, with coverage across Te Tai Tokerau (Northland), you’ll provide high-level advisory support to the Regional Commissioner, leadership team, and the wider public service to deliver on MSD’s strategic and operational priorities for the region.
The Ministry has a broad and complex portfolio of work, and this role operates at the interface — connecting the Ministry, communities, and other public service agencies. You’ll strengthen regional relationships, lead and align cross-sector initiatives, identify risks and opportunities, and provide strategic insights to inform decision-making on regional development, labour markets, and social outcomes.
