What you'll be doing | He aha tāu e mahi ana

 

As the Executive Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide professional support and time management for a busy Regional Director. You will manage multiple deadlines, remain composed in challenging situations, and proactively add value to the work program. You will be intuitive to the Regional Director's needs and willing to assist wherever necessary.

 

In addition to supporting the Regional Director, you’ll play a key role in helping the wider regional office and leadership team operate smoothly. This includes supporting the operational side of the business through tasks such as reporting, issues management, event coordination, and managing diaries, emails, and travel arrangements.

 

Your approachability and excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to confidently engage with a multitude of community partners and a network of government agencies. This role requires exposure to sensitive information, demanding high levels of confidentiality, integrity, and trust.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities
  • A pragmatic mindset and sound problem-solving skills
  • Hold a NZ Driver’s licence and have the ability to drive Ministry vehicles as required
  • Previous experience in an executive/administrator role, supporting a senior-level manager, would be advantageous

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $79,200.00 - $95,873.00
