As a Work Broker at MSD, you’ll play a pivotal role in building strong relationships with businesses, securing job opportunities, and supporting job seekers into sustainable employment. What you’ll be doing | He aha tāu e mahi ana
- Proactively engage with employers to identify job opportunities that match job seekers' skills and aspirations.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and industry partners.
- Work closely with Case Managers and Service Centre colleagues to ensure successful employment placements.
- Market and deliver MSD’s employment initiatives, including recruitment services, wage subsidies, and training programmes.
- Provide post-placement support to help job seekers thrive in their new roles.
- Stay informed on labour market trends to identify skill gaps and emerging job opportunities.
What you’ll need to succeed | Ko ngā mea ka hiahiatia e koe kia angitū
- Strong business development, sales, marketing, and relationship-building skills.
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to influence and negotiate.
- The confidence to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, from job seekers to business leaders.
- Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple priorities and meet targets.
- A full or restricted NZ Driver Licence – with the ability to drive Ministry vehicles as needed.
