As an Employment Coordinator, you’ll empower clients to build confidence, develop skills, and connect with sustainable work opportunities. This role plays a key part in helping people move toward independence while supporting MSD’s commitment to inclusive employment across South Auckland.
What You’ll Be Doing | He aha tāu e mahi ana
• Partner with Case Managers to understand clients’ skills, needs, and employment goals.
• Coordinate training and supported work placements that build confidence and readiness.
• Work with employers and providers to develop inclusive employment opportunities.
• Support clients with CV preparation, interview coaching, and pre-employment checks.
• Develop and deliver targeted interventions that lead to sustainable employment outcomes.
• Collaborate with community, health, and training partners to deliver practical employment solutions.
What You’ll Bring | Ngā pūkenga kauneke
• Excellent communication, relationship management, and networking skills.
• Experience in the health, disability, or employment/recruitment sectors.
• Understanding of current labour market trends and challenges faced by people with disabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – able to identify patterns and develop solutions.
• Highly organised and resilient, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
A full, valid New Zealand driver licence is required for travel across Tāmaki Makaurau.
