Administration Officer | Kaihāpai | Papakura & Manurewa

  • Salary range: BO3 $61,466 – $73,903 per annum

What you’ll be doing | Ko te mahi

 

This busy and varied role helps ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our service centre environments.

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Managing oversight of meeting room bookings and usage
  • Maintaining office and stationery supplies
  • Arranging equipment servicing and building maintenance
  • Coordinating meetings and taking minutes when required
  • Supporting general administration to keep centre operations running smoothly
  • Working with Security to ensure visitors and contractors are inducted correctly
  • Supporting health and safety practices across the site
  • Fleet coordination including vehicle servicing, WOFs and logistics
  • Assisting with catering collection and transport tasks when needed
     

 

What you’ll need to succeed | Ko tō āhua

 

We’re looking for someone proactive, flexible and positive who can juggle multiple priorities and stay calm under pressure.

You will bring:

 

  • Strong administrative experience supporting a team
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Confidence learning new systems and technology quickly
  • Strong attention to detail and discretion with sensitive information
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment
  • A valid Restricted NZ Driver Licence and willingness to drive Ministry vehicles

 

 

Position Description | He Whakaahuatanga Tūnga:

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $61,466.00 - $73,903.00

Starting salary dependand on relevant skills, experience and knowledge.
