About the role | Mō te tūnga:
As Technology Delivery Lead, you’ll take ownership of planning and leading the delivery of technology workstreams, ensuring objectives are met within agreed timeframes, scope, and budget.
You’ll manage multiple delivery teams and foster a culture of collaboration and high performance.
Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll ensure requirements are understood and delivered to expectations while driving efficiency and continual improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead day-to-day delivery of teams working on epics and projects
- Develop delivery plans, roadmaps, and milestones, managing risks and dependencies
- Coach teams in fit-for-purpose methodologies aligned to IST’s delivery practices
- Monitor progress and report on workflow through sprint and project updates
- Facilitate team events and foster a safe, collaborative environment
- Manage resource planning, capacity, and resolve delivery impediments
- Provide financial and cost management support, including forecasting and estimates
- Ensure governance and risk management using ROAM and RAID frameworks
- Collaborate with stakeholders and other delivery leads to meet outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across delivery processes

We’re looking for an experienced delivery leader who thrives in complex environments and inspires teams to achieve results.
You will bring:
- Extensive delivery experience across agile, waterfall and hybrid methodologies
- Strong experience leading multiple delivery teams and managing competing priorities
- Proven ability to communicate and negotiate in complex environments
- Highly organised with excellent planning and stakeholder management skills
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage forecasts and budgets
- Excellent communication skills including written
- Ability to build trust, influence, and motivate teams to deliver outcomes

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $138,125.00 - $171,889.00
