About the role | Mō te tūnga:

 

As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll work closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams to analyse needs, define requirements, and support the delivery of effective technology solutions.


You’ll contribute to initiatives that improve systems, processes, and services for New Zealanders, applying sound analysis practices while developing your technical and domain expertise within a supportive practice environment.

 

Key responsibilities include:


•    Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements
•    Work with stakeholders to understand processes, pain points, and desired outcomes
•    Support solution design through analysis, modelling, and documentation
•    Collaborate with developers, testers, and architects throughout delivery
•    Maintain requirement traceability and support delivery planning and testing
•    Assist with impact analysis, risk identification, and change management activities
•    Contribute to continuous improvement of analysis artefacts and practices
•    Work within agreed governance, standards, and delivery frameworks

What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga:

 

You’re a capable and motivated Business Analyst who enjoys working in collaborative, delivery-focused teams. You’ll bring:

 

•    Experience working as a Business Analyst on digital or technology initiatives
•    Sound understanding of business analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies
•    Ability to analyse business processes and translate needs into clear requirements
•    Experience working with technical delivery teams
•    Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
•    Exposure to agile or hybrid delivery environments
•    A willingness to learn, grow, and build technical domain expertise
•    A collaborative approach and commitment to quality outcomes

Salary | Utu-ā-tau:

 

The full salary range for this role is $103,846 -$125,998. Appointments will be made depending on your relevant skills, experience and other factors.
