About the role | Mō te tūnga:

 

As a Support Officer, you’ll provide administration and support services to the Product team, as well as systems support to staff and external partners. You’ll play a key role in making sure support is accurate, timely, and of a high standard.


This role involves helping with the day‑to‑day administration of the team, responding to system‑related queries, and supporting staff and partners to do their work effectively. You’ll work closely with others, contribute as part of a supportive team, and help the team meet MCP’s targets and outcomes.

What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga:

 

We’re looking for someone who brings solid administration experience and is comfortable working with systems and technology. You’ll ideally have:


•    Experience in an administration, service desk or support role, preferably within a large organisation
•    A good understanding of administration policies, procedures, and systems
•    Confidence using business applications and systems, with the ability to learn and support others in new systems and software
•    Strong computer skills, including data entry, word processing, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
•    The ability to assess situations, use sound judgement, and make practical decisions
•    Well developed written and verbal communication skills
•    The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people


You’ll be someone who is well organised, pays attention to detail, and can manage your own workload while meeting deadlines. You use sound judgement, have good problem solving skills, and are comfortable taking initiative when needed. You build strong working relationships, have a practical and flexible approach to work, and keep a strong focus on providing good service to clients and stakeholders.


Post secondary study related to administration (such as a certificate or diploma) and previous experience in using MSD contract management systems  or Oracle products would be very useful , but not essential.

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $55,440.00 - $66,410.00
