About the role | Mō te tūnga
As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering technology-enabled improvements that support MSD’s purpose and strategic outcomes.
You’ll work across complex initiatives, including MSD’s transformation of core systems to Salesforce, partnering with delivery teams, architects, and senior stakeholders to ensure solutions are well-designed, value-driven, and aligned with business needs.
You’ll bring strong technical analysis capability, combined with strategic thinking and the ability to influence across delivery and leadership layers. This role also contributes to lifting analysis maturity and supporting less-experienced BAs within the practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead end-to-end business analysis across complex digital and technology initiatives
- Elicit, analyse, and document complex business and technical requirements
- Partner closely with architects, developers, and testers to shape fit-for-purpose solutions
- Provide strategic analysis advice to delivery leads and senior stakeholders
- Support solution design through feasibility assessments, options analysis, and impact assessment
- Ensure traceability and quality of requirements through the delivery lifecycle
- Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts across systems, processes, and customers
- Contribute to continuous improvement of BA standards, tools, and ways of working
- Coach and support Technical Business Analysts within the Analysis & Design Practice.

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $106,474.00 - $129,210.00
We expect to appoint this position up to $119,546 however and offer will be made based on your skills and experience and our team relativities.
