We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Service Improvement and Delivery team.
You’ll join the Service Improvement and Delivery business unit, the delivery engine for Service Delivery, accountable for service improvement and change implementation. The team brings together operational and support functions with planning, sequencing, and execution of business change, policy implementation, and system enhancements. You’ll be part of a delivery team, working on initiatives across an income, employment, or housing lens.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work as a Senior Business Analyst within an Agile delivery team
• Analyse and understand business needs, translating them into fit-for-purpose user stories and requirements with clear acceptance criteria
• Assist in designing business process or systems, to capture business requirements and problem definitions
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across MSD to ensure user stories are well-understood, and desired outcomes are achieved
• Apply strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to identify and address pain points effectively
• Maintain extensive knowledge of MSD’s products, services, processes, best practices, operational policies, and system functionality
• Provide comprehensive support to the Delivery Lead and Director throughout all stages of the product lifecycle, ensuring effective planning, execution, and continuous improvement
• Provide high-quality reporting and feedback to stakeholders, users, and team members
Skills and Experience Required:
• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within an Agile delivery environment
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into user stories and requirements, with well-defined acceptance criteria
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and succinctly to a range of audiences
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Proven ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders, delivery team members and vendors to fully understand, communicate, and document processes, workflows, requirements, and solutions
• Experience in facilitating requirements gathering workshops with Subject Matter Experts
