What you'll be doing | He aha tāu e mahi ana 
 

This is a key position within the Media and Social Media team, and you’ll work on media issues that really matter.  You’ll be working with people across the organisation to manage media issues and to develop proactive stories. We’ll look to you to advise on strategy and positioning on key matters.

 

 

 

What you'll need to succeed | Ko ngā mea ka hiahiatia e koe kia angitū

 

Our ideal candidate will be cool and calm under pressure, enjoy tackling complex issues and would like to be part of a positive and supportive team. You’ll also offer:

 

  • proven experience in the news media
  • excellent experience in working in a fast-paced environment, juggling competing priorities
  • well experienced in risk management of media issues
  • strong ability to quickly build trust, rapport and credibility with senior leaders
  • proven record in the communications industry, particularly government communications
