About the Role


As a key member of the regional team, reporting directly to the Regional Director – Wellington, you will provide both strategic and operational leadership across multiple sites. You will drive innovation, identify opportunities, and foster a high-performing, people-focused culture. Your leadership will ensure MSD employment services not only meet but exceed client and community expectations, contributing to sustainable employment outcomes and MSD’s broader strategic objectives.


About You


This role requires strong leadership experience combined with a client-centric mindset and the ability to anticipate challenges and risks.


Your strategic and people management expertise enables you to lead with purpose, ensuring better outcomes for whānau. A natural relationship builder, you collaborate with ease, influence change, and help others grow. Your ability to see the big picture, break it down into actionable steps, and execute with precision will be key to your success.


To Succeed in This Role, You Will Have:


Experience embedding Te Ao Māori principles into leadership practices.
Proven expertise in leading regional recruitment initiatives across multiple industries.
A track record of achieving client-focused outcomes in complex service environments.
Success in managing change programs, from design to implementation and monitoring.
Knowledge of systems thinking and continuous improvement methodologies.
A solid understanding of employment and OHS law.
A data-driven approach to influencing change and driving performance.

Salary range: $120,870.00 - $150,416.00
