We’re looking for two passionate M365 Specialists to join our team at MSD. One with a specialisation in Microsoft 365 adoption and training and the other with experience in deploying Microsoft Productivity tools

At MSD, the M365 Platform team looks after everything related to Microsoft 365 and Windows as well as Apple iOS operating systems, including services like the Teams meeting room software and Teams Calling. Other responsibilities include Remote Access Services (Windows 365), maintaining and governing end user devices such as laptops and mobiles (and the groups and policies associated with them), centralised software management and application delivery to physical and virtual devices and increasingly, end user empowerment through self-service and technology adoption support. 

About the role | Mō te tūnga:

 

As an M365 Specialist, you’ll ensure the smooth operation and evolution of M365 services. You’ll be there to support users and help implement continuous updates from Microsoft. 

 

You’ll collaborate with the rest of the M365 Platform team to deliver solutions that help our people achieve their goals. 

 

Key responsibilities for the Productivity role include: 

 

  • Contribute to deploying, configuring and operating software components, such as SharePoint Online, MS Teams, OneDrive for Business, the Power Platform (including Copilot Studio), the Viva suite and other collaboration tools
  • Understand integration of emerging technologies within the M365 Platform and contribute to supporting adoption of Microsoft evergreen updates 
  • Assist with monitoring system performance, update cycles and usage metrics for M365 services to proactively identify issues and deliver value to stakeholders
  • Provide technical and administrative support for live applications within the M365 Platform, ensuring stability and reliability
  • Support a culture of continuous learning within the organisation, encouraging ongoing development and knowledge sharing 

 

Key responsibilities for the Technology Adoption and Training role include: 

 

  • Implement plans to drive adoption of existing M365 products and services, such as Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and Power Platform (including Copilot Studio) 
  • Collaborate with other teams within MSD to ensure successful adoption of M365 products 
  • Provide clear guidance and assistance to end users, helping them use M365 products and services effectively and confidently 
  • Create and maintain adoption and support materials, such as guides, videos, FAQs, tips, and best practices 
  • Design and deliver engaging and effective training sessions, workshops, webinars, and other learning resources for end users 
  • Create engaging communications

What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga:

 

  • In-depth experience with M365 tools, in particular Power Platform (including Copilot Studio), Viva suite and other collaboration technologies such as SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive etc.  
  • Experience in M365 adoption, training, or support (Adoption)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adept at building and maintaining relationships 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills 
  • A high level of customer-service standards 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively and efficiently 
  • The ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities  
  • An eagerness to learn new technologies and creative thinker with outside-the-box ideas and suggestions 
  • A Certification in M365 or related areas is a plus

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $119,586.00 - $145,235.00
