About the role | Mō te tūnga:

 

As a Lead Technical Business Analyst, you’ll help to bridge the gap between business needs and technology, translating complex requirements into impactful solutions. 


You’ll provide lead business analyst expertise to a technical platform, working across multiple projects to drive strategic alignment and champion best practices. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Lead analysis across one of our complex technical platforms:
    • enterprise client platform
    • core operational platform
  • Apply specialist business analysis expertise to enterprise and cross-portfolio initiatives 
  • Provide strategic advice to delivery leads and senior stakeholders
  • Help develop training and upskilling programmes for the Analysis & Design Practice
  • Ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives
  • Champion best practices in requirements management and solution design
  • Ensure governance and compliance in technical solution delivery
  • Represent the Practice in strategic and enterprise-wide initiatives

We’re looking for a strategic thinker and experienced BA lead who thrives in complex environments. You’ll bring:

 

  • Extensive experience leading business analysis across large-scale projects and programmes
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis methods and practices
  • Strong experience coaching and mentoring other Business Analysts
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic decisions
  • Experience aligning technical solutions with business goals
  • Expertise in process improvement
  • Experience developing BA frameworks and training programmes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Experience with feasibility assessments, change control, and problem management
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $139,920.00 - $170,089.00
