About the role | Mō te tūnga:
As a Lead Technical Business Analyst, you’ll help to bridge the gap between business needs and technology—translating complex requirements into impactful solutions.
You’ll support the lead business analysis across multiple projects, drive strategic alignment, and champion best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the leadership and oversight of business analysis across multiple projects and teams
- Provide strategic advice to delivery leads and senior stakeholders
- Help to develop training and upskilling programmes for the A&D Team
- Ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives
- Champion best practices in requirements management and solution design
- Lead enterprise-wide process improvement and automation initiatives
- Guide adoption of emerging trends and industry best practices
- Ensure governance and compliance in technical solution delivery
- Represent the BA practice in strategic and enterprise-wide initiatives

What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga:
We’re looking for a strategic thinker and experienced BA leader who thrives in complex environments. You’ll bring:
- Extensive experience leading business analysis across large-scale projects
- Strong knowledge of business analysis methods and practices
- Strong people leadership skills with previous experience coaching and mentoring others
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic decisions
- Experience aligning technical solutions with business goals
- Expertise in process improvement and automation initiatives
- Experience developing BA frameworks and training programmes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Familiarity with SFIA-aligned skills such as BUSA, REQM, UNAN, METL, RLMT, BSMO, and BPRE
- Experience with feasibility assessments, change control, and problem management
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $139,920.00 - $170,089.00
