About the role | Mō te tūnga
As the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Capability Lead, you will provide technical and delivery leadership across IAM capabilities, ensuring business needs are translated into innovative, secure and scalable technology solutions.
You will lead a high-performing team, foster strong stakeholder relationships, and drive the delivery of identity services that support MSD's strategic objectives.
This role is based in our Wellington office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of IAM capabilities, including IGA, PAM, CIAM and Authentication services
- Align business priorities and technology roadmaps to deliver responsive and innovative IAM solutions
- Ensure the right team capacity, skills and specialist capability are available to support delivery outcomes
- Champion Agile and DevSecOps practices to accelerate the delivery of secure, high-quality solutions
- Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to delivery teams and technical specialists
- Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure effective service delivery and performance

What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga
- Extensive experience working within Identity and Access Management in a large and complex organisation
- Strong technical knowledge across IAM disciplines such as IGA, PAM, CIAM, Authentication or related capabilities
- Strong preference for people with knowledge of BeyondTrust Password Safe and Entra.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical delivery teams and influencing outcomes across multiple stakeholders
- Proven ability to engage with business leaders, provide trusted advice and communicate technical concepts in a clear and practical way
- Experience contributing to technology strategies, roadmaps and long-term capability planning
- Strong understanding of governance, security and operational management of IAM platforms
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and embracing continuous improvement practices
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop technical professionals
- Strong relationship management skills with experience working collaboratively across cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills including written, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $138,125.00 - $171,889.00
We expect to appoint this position up to $164,216 however a salary offer will be based on the preferred candidate’s skills and experience and our team relativities.
