This opportunity is available within MSD’s Technology, Security, and Identity Team, which is responsible for leading technology security operations, driving the execution, and fostering a culture change for cyber capabilities to be suitable for tactical and emerging needs for MSD’s organizational transformation.

 

 

IAM (Identity & Access Management) Analyst - Permanent

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst who is an analytical thinker with a passion for cybersecurity and identity management to join dynamic Technology Security and Identity practice at MSD.

What you'll be doing | He aha tāu e mahi ana

 

As IAM Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of enhancing our IAM landscape, identifying trends, and driving improvements that align with the MSD goals.

 

This is a hands-on technical role working in a 24x7 environment. The role includes an on-call roster.

 

Key Responsibilities | Ngā kawenga matua

 

•    Day-to-day operational and administration tasks for IAM Services such as IGA, PAM and CIAM.
•    Daily monitoring and processing of IAM related requests and incidents ensuring timely resolution and documentation of incident reports.
•    Collaboration with stakeholders to develop and maintain IAM operational procedures and workflows.
•    Lead the analysis of IAM metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement.
•    Contribute to IAM technology capability uplift and process improvement initiatives.
•    Contribute to IAM security awareness and training initiatives for staff.

To be successful in this role, you will bring: 

 

•    Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in a Security or System Analyst or Administrator role
•    In-depth knowledge of IAM concepts, solutions, technologies and best practices
•    Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with demonstrated experience in detecting and responding to identity and access related incidents and requests.
•    Familiarity with risk management and security protocols.
•    Ability to analyse patterns and trends to improve processes.
•    Ability to create clear formal reports and documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
•    Ability to foster positive relationships and influence stakeholder decisions for mutual benefit.
•    Experience with Agile delivery methodologies
