Are you organised, solution-focused, and enjoy solving problems? We're looking for a Financial Systems Administrator to join our Financial Systems team and support the day-to-day operation of our Oracle finance systems.

About the role | Mō te tūnga

 

In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for system support, managing tickets, resolving user issues, performing routine system administration tasks, and assisting with testing and system maintenance activities. You'll work closely with senior specialists, escalating complex issues when needed and helping ensure our systems run smoothly.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Managing and resolving support tickets and user requests.
  • Providing first-line support for Oracle systems.
  • Performing routine system administration and maintenance activities.
  • Supporting system refreshes and data validation activities.
  • Assisting with testing of upgrades, enhancements, and fixes.
  • Maintaining support documentation and procedures.
  • Escalating complex issues to senior team members and technical specialists.

What you'll bring

  • Experience supporting business applications or enterprise systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent internal customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work.

 

Desirable

  • Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems.
  • Experience working in a finance or financial systems environment.
  • Familiarity with service management or ticketing systems.
