About the role | Mō te tūnga
Strategy and Insights is responsible for the development and implementation of MSD’s strategic direction and provides organisational and financial strategy, performance and outcomes, as well as planning for investments and delivering insights that support evidence-based decisions.
As the Executive Assistant in this exciting role, you’ll be part of a team supporting leaders across the Strategy and Insights Group, providing high-quality, trusted support to two General Managers. This is an EA role that sits close to decision making and plays a critical part in enabling leaders and leadership teams to focus on strategic and operational priorities.
You’ll manage complex and confidential administrative, secretarial and coordination activities, anticipating needs, balancing competing demands, and exercising sound judgement in a fast paced, high trust environment. The role is key to ensuring the effective operation of leadership functions through proactive diary and email management, meeting and event coordination, preparation of high quality documents and presentations, and support with reporting, finance and people processes.
This role requires discretion, initiative, strong relationship skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent service in support of MSD’s people, partners and communities.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be an experienced Executive Assistant who thrives in complex environments and takes pride in delivering high quality support.
You’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience providing comprehensive executive support to a senior leader, ideally within a large or complex organisation.
- Excellent communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to produce high quality presentations, reports and briefings.
- Advanced diary, email and meeting management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage competing demands and deadlines.
- Strong planning and organisational capability, including coordinating meetings, events, travel and logistics, and managing confidential information with discretion.
- Proven ability to build trust and credibility, and to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- A willingness to support the overall performance of the group.

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $79,200.00 - $95,873.00
