About the role | Mō te tūnga:
We are looking for an experienced and highly capable Executive Assistant to provide reliable, high quality support in a busy and complex environment. This part time role (30 hours per week) provides executive and administrative support to two senior leaders, ensuring their time, priorities and commitments are well managed.
You will play a key role in enabling effective leadership by managing diaries, coordinating meetings, preparing documentation, and supporting the smooth operation of the wider team. The position requires sound judgement, professionalism, and the ability to manage confidential information with care. You will also support the coordination of events, prepare reports and presentations, and act as a central point of contact for stakeholders.
This role is based in Wellington and would suit someone who is proactive, organised, and comfortable working with competing priorities in a large, fast paced organisation.
What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
• Strong experience providing high level executive support, ideally within a large or complex organisation
• Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment
• Confident communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail
• Proven experience managing diaries, preparing documentation, coordinating meetings and supporting senior leaders
• The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
• Strong relationship management skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and confidence preparing presentations and reports
• Initiative, sound judgement, and the ability to work independently when needed
• A relevant tertiary qualification in business administration (or equivalent experience) is desirable, but not essential.
