The Disability Support Services (DSS) Group is responsible for commissioning, funding, and stewarding high-quality services that support disabled people, their families, and whānau.

About the role | Mō te tūnga:

 

We’re looking for an experienced and highly skilled Executive Assistant to support a senior leader within our Business Support team.

 

This role is central to enabling the Director to focus on strategic and operational priorities by managing their schedule, communications, and key administrative functions.

 

You’ll be embedded within the business group, acting as a trusted advisor and central point of coordination.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Manage diaries, meetings and logistics with efficiency and discretion
  • Prepare high-quality documents, presentations, and briefing materials
  • Coordinate meetings, and forums, including agendas, packs, and minutes
  • Monitor and reconcile payroll, leave, and expense claims
  • Maintain and improve administrative systems and practices
  • Act as a central contact for initiatives and stakeholder engagement

What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga:

 

  • Proven experience in executive support roles within complex environments
  • Proven communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to communication across all levels of the organisation
  • Proven experience managing competing priorities and remain calm under pressure
  • Your ability to manage sensitive information, anticipate needs, and solve problems collaboratively will be key to your success.
  • Ability to tailor information to diverse audiences in accessible ways
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $69,519 - $84,041
