Director Learning and Continuous Improvement

  • Reporting into Group General Manager, System Performance, Improvement and Housing

  • Based in National Office Wellington

About the role

 

As Director, Learning and Continuous Improvement (L&CI) you will lead the group to implement a future-focused learning and continuous improvement strategy. With a focus on high performance, you will ensure the organisation’s frontline workforce has the skills to deliver on business requirements and government expectations with confidence and agility.


This highly collaborative role requires leading the development of a national capability strategy that will promote and enable Service Delivery’s Client Service Support (CSS) and Client Service Delivery (CSD) teams to provide accurate and timely support to our clients.  


This role requires partnerships with senior leaders across multiple business units to ensure Learning and Development is implemented from across the business to the front line. 


Leading, inspiring and supporting the team as the organisation transforms, you will help them shift from good to great, delivering operational excellence and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.  

 

 

 

About You:

 

•    You will bring extensive leadership experience in complex, large-scale environments, strategic business partnering and change management
•    Offering a strong track record of partnering and influencing, you will have proven experience in developing strategic and operational direction and using insights to inform robust operational practices and processes
•    Exceptional coaching skills and experience in fostering leadership capability and performance enhancement
•    Demonstrated ability in lifting organisational performance
•    Experience in learning and capability leadership is preferred but not essential


 

Salary range: $175,102.00 - $258,401.00
