The New Zealand Superannuation (NZS) processing unit is a specialist team within the Ministry of Social Development’s Centralised Services Business Unit. Based in Wellington, we are responsible for the administration of domestic NZS and related products.

As a Central Processing Officer, you will be responsible for processing applications for clients eligible for NZS and reviewing and updating client records for those already in receipt of NZS. This work is undertaken in line with legislation, social security agreements and other relevant arrangements, helping to ensure an equitable financial support system for all New Zealanders.
