About the role | Mō te tūnga:
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about people and enjoys helping others. This is an entry level HR role based in Wellington City, working as part of our HR team.
You’ll be the first point of contact for managers needing day to day HR support that can’t be resolved through self service. This may include answering common HR questions, providing simple policy information, and helping troubleshoot issues with self service tools.
You’ll also support a range of HR processes such as responding to HR queries, assisting with recruitment tasks, and preparing employment documents.

What you'll be doing as an Assistant Human Resources Advisor
- Providing practical HR support and advice to people leaders
- Entering and maintaining accurate information in our HR and payroll systems
- Identifying issues or errors and resolving them in a timely way
- Prioritising your workload to meet deadlines
- Delivering excellent customer service while building your HR capability

- The ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Solid computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to work additional hours when needed (paid overtime applies)
