About the role | Mō te tūnga
• Based at National Office, Wellington
• Fixed Term / Secondment for 18 months
As the Analysis Lead, you’ll be at the centre of MSD’s Service Experience transformation, guiding the way we design, develop, and implement business analysis, business rules, and business process design practices. Your leadership will shape how our analysis and design teams work together, ensuring that business analysis is robust, every process is clear, and every rule is fit for purpose.
You’ll be a trusted advisor to the Director – Service Experience, and will work alongside domain design leads, service delivery, and IST practice leads, embedding standards and best practice across Service Experience. Quality assurance won’t just be a checkbox, it’ll be a mindset that underpins every deliverable and decision.
You’ll be the go-to person for analysis disciplines within Service Experience, supporting and coaching analysts, and engaging stakeholders at every level. By fostering a strong Community of Practice, you’ll help build capability and drive continuous improvement, ensuring our ways of working evolve with the needs of the programme.
Relationship management will be key. You’ll collaborate with portfolio management teams, delivery leads, product owners, and technical teams, making sure their needs are understood and integrated into our solutions.
Strategic alignment is at the heart of this role. You’ll maintain a clear view of the big picture, identifying system-wide impacts and ensuring our work aligns with key strategies, Te Pae Tawhiti, Te Pae Tata, and Pacific Prosperity.
What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga:
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Business Process, Business Rules, and Business Analysis in large-scale transformation programmes
• Strong understanding of business rules management, process modelling, and requirements engineering and their execution
• Experience in bringing together requirements, processes, and rules to create cohesive outputs that can be used by delivery and business teams
• A creative mindset and willingness to experiment with new ways of working
• Expertise in analysis validation and ensuring alignment with the business intent
• A proven record of establishing, building, and maintaining effective and cohesive working relationships
• Demonstrated ability to influence and lead diverse groups of people – getting them on board and engaged with a vision
You’ll also have well-developed relationship management skills and proven ability to influence stakeholders, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a commitment and willingness to embed Te Ao Māori into BAU.
