Advisor, Income Portfolio, Wellington

We’re seeking Advisors to join our Income Portfolio within Service Delivery. 

 

You’ll be part of exciting work programmes, that greatly enhance the access to services, income, and the wellbeing of New Zealanders. 

 

We want you to help us to continue improving our support systems, making them easier to understand and navigate and providing fair, consistent, accurate and timely support. 

 

We are looking for people who are energetic, confident, driven to succeed, and have a practical approach to progressing and supporting a broad range of business work programmes. 

 

You’ll be part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team, and you’ll need to be collaborative with others from across the business.  

 

You’ll get involved with different business groups, working to understand and identify their needs and identify solution focused options. We have a complex work programme, so you’ll need to be able to provide good quality, clear advice on business needs in a range of areas.

 

You will be working as part of an Agile product delivery team. While experience in Agile would be useful, it’s not essential. Having the ability to be across a wide range of relationships from the team right through to external stakeholders would be most useful.

To succeed in this role, you will:

 

•    Have excellent communication skills, including the ability to present clear, concise documentation
•    Be able to collaborate with different people across the business at all levels – use your excellent relationship skills, being flexible and adaptable, while keeping business needs at the front of mind
•    Have a curious mind capable of understanding complex issues and researching solutions to provide high quality advice  
•    Provide input to identifying issues that may impact on work programmes and delivery
•    Have proven experience delivering quality work to tight deadlines 
•    Have highly developed analytical skills with the ability to provide robust recommendations

Salary range: $78,222.00 - $94,689.00
