Employment Coordinator | Waikato

•    Salary range starting from (B05) $79,200.00 - $95,873.00

We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team of Employment Coordinator's in the Waikato Region. This is a permanent full-time role. 
 

The Employment Coordinator supports clients with health conditions, illness or disabilities to access support, training and employment opportunities, make career choices, stay employed and become independent.  This key role proactively identifies and addresses barriers to employment for people with health conditions and disabilities and facilitates preventative support by contributing to the region’s business strategy, plans and initiatives related to health or disability. 

 


What you'll be doing | He aha tāu e mahi ana 

 

The primary purpose of this role is to build and maintain strong relationships with employers to secure vacancies and place clients into work.
You represent MSD in the employment sector and act as a key liaison between employers and clients to create and facilitate employment opportunities. This includes providing advice to businesses on recruitment, workforce planning and training pathways and providing post-placement support to clients and employers.
By actively promoting our employment services to potential and existing employers, you highlight the benefits and value MSD can offer. You work collaboratively with internal teams to leverage labour market insights, supporting your outreach to employers. By sharing these insights, you help employers make informed hiring decisions, further strengthening your relationships with them. 

 

What you'll need to succeed | Ko ngā mea ka hiahiatia e koe kia angitū

 

•    Relevant experience or knowledge of working within the health and disability sector or recruitment industry 
•    Knowledge of current developments and trends in the labour market, including employment challenges and issues faced by people with health or disabilities.
•    The ability to interpret and analyse data to identify trends in health condition, injury and disability services and employment. 
•    Excellent communication, relationship-building and networking skills.
•    Effectively managing time to meet deadlines and targets.

 


You must hold a full, valid Driver License and be able to travel across Waikato region as required. 

Position Description

Salary range: $79,200.00 - $95,873.00

Salary is aligned to your skills, knowledge and relevant work experience.
