One team, one approach underpins how we deliver services across the Waikato region. We are committed to supporting whānau with manaakitanga and whanaungatanga, providing respectful, non-judgemental services that enable people to build independence and achieve sustainable outcomes.
 
As Manager Client Service Delivery, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of frontline service delivery. You will lead teams responsible for delivering income support, employment, and housing services, ensuring services are effective, consistent, and aligned to MSD priorities.
 
You will role-model strong leadership, build high-performing teams, and contribute to regional and national outcomes through collaboration with other leaders across Te Rohe o Waikato.

•    Lead and develop high-performing teams in a complex, people-focused environment
•    Create a positive, motivating, and accountable culture focused on quality service delivery
•    Collaborate with regional leaders to deliver a consistent “one team” approach
•    Support and uplift staff capability, performance, and wellbeing
•    Manage resources and budgets, ensuring timely reporting and sound decision-making
•    Represent MSD professionally in regional initiatives and community engagement
•    You may also contribute to local or regional projects and engage with community partners, local government, and other stakeholders to support positive outcomes for whānau.

 

You are an experienced people leader with a strong understanding of service delivery and operational leadership. You bring sound judgement, clear communication, and the ability to lead through complexity.
 

 

You will demonstrate
 
•    Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams
•    Strong relationship-building skills across diverse internal and external stakeholders
•    The ability to communicate effectively with different audiences
•    Experience managing performance, budgets, and reporting requirements
•    A commitment to MSD values and mana-enhancing service delivery
•    An understanding of MSD's purpose and the services we provide to New Zealanders
 

 

An understanding of Te Ao Māori and delivering culturally responsive services for iwi and whānau.

We are hosting a Kai Kōrero evening Thursday 30 April 2026, at the Paeroa Service Centre. During this hui we will share MSD's purpose, vision and values, and provide insight into the role of Manager Client Service Delivery. This is a great opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and connect with our team.
