The Disability Support Services (DSS) Group is responsible for commissioning, funding, and stewarding high-quality services that support disabled people, their families, and whānau.

About the role | Mō te tūnga:

 

As Executive Assistant, you will provide high quality, end to end administrative and secretarial support to the National Director, EGL and their leadership team. 

 

You’ll work as part of a wider executive support network, ensuring seamless coordination, confidentiality and proactive support across priorities.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Provide comprehensive executive support, including diary management, email triaging and correspondence, meeting coordination and minute‑taking
  • Prepare, format and manage documents, presentations and reports to a high standard
  • Coordinate meetings and events, including agendas, papers, venues, catering and logistics
  • Maintain effective electronic and paper filing systems to ensure quick access to information
  • Provide administrative and basic financial support, including purchase orders, invoices and liaison with finance teams

What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga:

 

  • Proven experience providing high level administrative or executive support in a complex environment including email triage and responses where appropriate
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
  • Well developed communication skills including written. 
  • Confidence working with senior leaders and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong digital capability, including document production, spreadsheets, email and diary management
  • Experience with accounts or financial administration is an advantage
  • A collaborative team player who takes pride in delivering quality support
  • Comfort adapting to change and working with ambiguity

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $69,519.00 - $84,041.00
