About the role | Mō te tūnga:
This is a new role designed to bring structure, clarity, and consistency to how we monitor and report on technology performance.
You’ll be the one turning raw data into something people understand and making it easier to see what’s working, what’s not, and where we need to act.
This role can be based in Auckland or Wellington.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain clear monitoring and reporting frameworks
- Translate complex technology performance data into meaningful insight for senior leaders
- Identify trends, gaps, and risks through structured reporting
- Help shape a new function that informs smart, timely decisions

What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga:
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has significant experience (5 years plus) in technology, with a strong focus on reporting, analytics, or monitoring functions.
- Knows how to design and maintain reporting frameworks, not just run dashboards.
- Ha proven experience communicating with both technical teams and senior leaders.
- Can explain a graph without needing a translator.
- Brings an analytical mindset but keeps it practical.
- Public sector or regulated industry experience is a plus but not required.

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $119,586.00 - $145,235.00
