About the role | Mō te tūnga:

 

As our Senior Practice Improvement Analyst, you’ll work closely with the Practice Manager to identify opportunities for process efficiencies and lead the design and documentation of improvements.

 

You’ll engage with stakeholders across IST, develop practical solutions, and ensure processes are centralised and accessible.

 

This role is key to driving quality, consistency, and innovation in how we work.

 

This role can be based in either Wellington or Auckland.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Analyse and improve business processes using structured methodologies
  • Design and document workflows, SOPs, and technical processes
  • Lead delivery of improvement initiatives using Agile or Lean principles
  • Facilitate workshops and engage cross-functional teams
  • Provide specialist advice and support across IST
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes
  • Monitor delivery progress and ensure quality standards are met
  • Support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the team

What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga:

 

We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and people skills. You’ll be confident working across complex systems and have a knack for turning insights into action.

 

  • Proven experience in process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile)
  • Strong documentation and process mapping skills
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • Experience facilitating workshops and driving team alignment
  • Strategic thinker with sound judgement and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication skills – including written
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and influencing change
  • Experience evaluating feasibility of process changes using data
  • Ability to lead and mentor others in improvement practices
  • Familiarity with SFIA framework and delivery methodologies is desirable but not essential

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $103,815.00 - $125,958.00
