About the role | Kōrero mō te tūranga

 

This is a fast-paced environment, often with changing priorities. This role requires you to be highly organised with your time management and to be solutions oriented.

 

As an Employment Support Representative, you will engage directly with clients who call through our 0800 phoneline as well as manage client employment, education and training calls referred in from Work Brokers and Case Managers. You will need to be confident in your ability to have meaningful conversations about employment and help clients who are seeking more information and help with applying for vacancies.

 

The key to being successful in this role is your ability to keep customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behaviour, by having great customer focus and adaptability to different personality types. You will need to be able to quickly build professional, collegial relationships as you work with Case Managers and Work Brokers across the regions. 

 

You will need to bring attention to detail and take pride in being accurate in your work, and most importantly provide excellent client service by demonstrating MSD’s values with every client you speak to.

  • Proven experience and confidence in asking effective questions, have strong active listening skills when speaking with clients over the phone.
  • Resolution focussed.
  • Demonstrated skills in building professional and collaborative working relationships.
  • Adaptability to learn quickly and move between a range of processes and systems, with confidence in using MSD IT systems.
  • Have an eagerness to learn and the desire for self-improvement and growth.
  • Demonstrated that you can work efficiently, accurately and be well organised.
  • You enjoy using quality conversations to help each client work through their situation and can demonstrate a history of providing clients or customers a positive experience on the phone.

These are full-time (37.55 hours per week), opportunities. 
You will be rostered to work shifts, usually between 7am and 6pm. 

 

We work on a no surprises basis and will ensure that you will know your scheduled shifts well in advance.

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $61,466.00 - $73,903.00
