What you’ll be doing | He aha tāu e mahi ana

 

As a Community Liaison Advisor, you’ll be a key member of the Ellerslie Regional Office team, managing Auckland’s region's image and reputation. This includes media liaison, stakeholder engagement, and event coordination. A significant part of your role will involve writing copy, crafting media responses, and overseeing regional publication production with a proactive approach to content.

 

You will use digital channels to gather insights, support seasonal campaigns, and apply web principles to drive online engagement. Your initiative and problem-solving skills will be crucial in identifying opportunities and addressing challenges. With a keen eye for design, you will create engaging and informative content.

We are looking for an experienced communications professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle competing demands. You will have expertise in digital channels, with the ability to measure success and engagement through insights. A strong eye for design (experience with tools like Canva is desirable) and proven experience creating publications, presentations, and video media will be key to your success. Experience in social media management and Public Information Management is also advantageous.

 

A full New Zealand driver’s license is essential, as regional travel is required. If you enjoy complexity, pace, and a good challenge, we encourage you to apply.

Salary range: $90,743.00 - $109,980.00
