Administration Officer

Mō te tūnga | About the role

 

In this varied role, the successful applicant will provide administrative support to the Alexandra and Queenstown Service Centres. You will ensure that both Centres run like clockwork. From fleet management, stock taking and ordering, minute taking and record keeping, data entry, health and safety, reconciliations, coordinating meetings, rooms, and everything in between. We’re looking for someone that will own the admininistration, so that the rest of the team can focus on the clients.  

 

This position supports both the Alexandra and Queenstown offices. While the role can be based at either, it is expected that the successful candidate will be present in both offices each week. Therefore, you must be a driver who is confident on the roads all year round.

Your manaakitanga, communication skills and excellent administration skills will help you support our team and ensure things are running smoothly. You are keen to learn and able to navigate computer and administration systems with ease. A fast paced, pressured environment is where you work best, and you enjoy interacting with people. Most of all, you pride yourself on taking care of the details that others don’t notice - you love going the extra mile and anticipating needs before they arise.

 

You also have strengths in the following areas:

 

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Ability in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent presentation skills – natural flair for design, layout and publishing.
  • Proven experience maintaining and improving office systems.
  • A fast learner and flexible in managing a variety of tasks.

Salary range: $61,466.00 - $73,903.00 dependant on experience

 

This is role is 20 hours per week and there is flexibility in how this is divided across a week. Actual hours and days will be discussed at interview.
