Salary Range: NZ$79,200 – NZ$95,873 per annum pro-rata, dependent on skills and experience

About the role | Mō te tūnga:
As a Work Broker, you will:
- Identify and find the right employment opportunities / vacancies for our candidates – this could be across a multitude of industries across the Wellington region.
- Have experience in matching candidates to jobs through skills-based matching, experience alignment, or broader life knowledge that might match to open and current vacancies.
- Deliver candidate management engagement by having great conversations that support our candidates with developing resumes, preparing them for interviews, and building trust and confidence in their journey to work.
- Bring a solid understanding of recruitment / employment – know how to find the right vacancies for the job seeker candidates who are ready to work.
- You will work with Employers from diverse sectors/industry and partner with them to support our job seekers candidates towards sustainable employment.
- Work collaboratively with the Employment teams across the region to ensure our candidates have options to roles available in Wellington, the Hutt or Porirua/Kapiti.
What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga:
- A positive, proactive, and results driven person who enjoys engaging with Job Seeker candidates and supporting them into employment.
- This is a very busy role and requires someone who comes from an employment focused background – you will be well organised with great time management skills and comfortable with engaging with employers.
- You will need to be confident with computers as this role requires you to enter data into our systems – updating candidate and employer information for reporting tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to build genuine connections to promote job seekers candidates into sustainable employment.
- Proactive and creative mindset bringing innovative ideas on how to identify employment opportunities that promote better labour market outcomes.
- Excellent communicator—strong verbal and written skills with attention to detail.
- Able to engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
