We are looking for someone to help us deliver quality solutions faster to enable MSD to make better decisions to improve New Zealanders’ lives, by improved use of data, information, and evidence.

 

 

 

About the role:


We have a fantastic opportunity in our Wellington office, for a Test Lead to join a team of specialists in the oversight and management of our critical data assets in the ongoing development of our enterprise data warehouse.

 

You will be responsible for design and implementation of a test lead development practice ensuring that solutions are tested prior to implementation and upskill developers on testing and code development. You will be developing, maintaining, and enhancing a test led development framework and automated testing suites.

 

You will ensure adequate testing is performed to meet client expectations as defined in Test Plans, and within the constraints of the project schedule, cost, staffing, and test environments

  • Experience in various types of testing in relation to data and can determine when each test type is suitable for use on various architectures
  • Ability to effectively utilise tools for the development and maintenance of test deliverables, including automation/scripting tools, change request and defect management systems
  • In depth exposure to various techniques used to analyse, prepare for, and execute tests
  • Extensive knowledge of Risk-based Agile Testing frameworks, Defect and Release Management, and the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experienced in Leading and Coaching best ‘testing’ practices across a unit.
  • Data warehouse environments
  • Data migration testing
  • Integration testing
  • Developing automated test scripts
  • Risk-based Agile testing, Test Driven Development, DataOps.
