Technical Product Owner – Developer Experience and Cloud Integration



The role will help transform how application integration is managed within MSD.   It will help plan and drive faster, safer, more flexible business solution development.



You will have a strong interest and experience in


  • Working closely with Architects (infrastructure, integration, application) as well as Business Analysts, Testing teams and DevOps teams.
  • Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders
  •  Leading teams design, develop and test REST, SOAP and other integration services on integration platforms and tools, such as Apache Camel/Fuse, Oracle Service Bus, jBPM, IBM AppConnect.
  • Interconnecting a wide variety of systems, applications and technologies, such as Enterprise Systems (CMS, ERP, CRM) and Channel applications (webapps, mobile, desktop systems of engagement) with Cloud-based solutions.
  • Integration tooling such as: Enterprise connectors, Redis caching, messaging (Kafka & WebSphere MQ), containers managed by Redhat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), Testing tools (Postman, Newman, SOAP UI, Rational Performance Tester, JMeter), DevOps tools (Jenkins, Sonarqube, Nexus, Urban Code Velocity and Deploy, Grafana, ELK etc.) to integrate distributed systems via IBM and 3rd party tools.
  • Data governance: Data governance sets the law for an enterprise’s state of information. A data governance framework is like a constitution that clearly outlines policies for the intake, flow, and protection of institutional knowledge. Data governors oversee their network of stewards, quality management professionals, security teams, and other people and data management processes to pursue a governance policy that serves a master data management approach. 
  • Leading, growing and developing a team of integration analysts and developers.
  • Contributing as a thought leader for new strategic initiatives shaped by emerging technology
  • Hands-on technical skills and development will still be required in the role



The successful applicant will have


1-2 years’ experience on service bus and Integration technologies using synchronous and asynchronous patterns and protocols (REST, SOAP, MQ, JDBC/ODBC, File-based protocols, SQL) and queries against relational databases.


Proven experience in leading a team is essential


  • Willingness to be hands-on in the delivery of application integration projects
  • Experience in the application of application; integration transformations and controls
  • Previous experience in UML and ArchiMate modelling 
  • Interest in building an API developer market place.
  • Experience with hyperscale cloud provide IPaaS services
  • Qualifications in relevant disciplines (Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Analytics)



Position Description:

Salary range: $106,967.00 - $160,451.00
