About our Team

The Māori, Communities and Partnerships Group (MCP) is responsible for building capability across MSD to support the aspirations of the Pacific Prosperity  Action Plan, connecting and collaborating to build effective partnerships and community approaches that achieve better outcomes for those who most need our support.
Sitting within MCP Group, the Service and Contracts Management team is responsible for managing a range of contracts with service providers and partners, The Team also supports the wider MSD Service lines with advice and best practise who work directly with providers throughout New Zealand. 


About the Role
The Team Administrator provides efficient and high-quality administrative support to our team.  This is a busy and varied role – you’ll be the hub of the team and involved in a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.
Some of these include:


  • Arranging appointments and travel arrangements
  • Managing meetings and event bookings
  • Organising the flow of documentation and information and maintaining sound processes
  • Developing processes and practises that meet the needs of the team 


Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience of providing high-level administration
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work
  • The ability to engage with a range of stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner
  • Good technical understanding of IT processes and systems
  • Advanced level of word processing, including experience in Microsoft Outlook and proficiency in Powerpoint and Excel
