Team Administrator - Wellington

Permanent full time position available - Based at National Office in Wellington
We’re seeking a highly organised and detail-focused administrator to support our Ministerial & Executive Services team. Reporting to the Manager Official Information, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth processes and accurate logging of official correspondence, Parliamentary Questions and Official Information Act (OIA) requests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Log and track correspondence, OIA requests, Parliamentary Questions and Ministerial reports
- Prepare documents for proactive release and publishing
- Maintain databases, workflows, reporting and filing systems (electronic and paper)
- Provide reporting and statistical information to required standards
- Support Cabinet and Ministerial processes and shared inbox management
- Deliver project, diary and general administrative support to the team
- Identify process improvements and maintain documentation
- Ensure confidentiality and adherence to Ministry standards

- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and written communication
- Confident using Microsoft Office, Adobe and database systems
- Politically aware, discreet and client-focused
- Able to build effective working relationships across diverse stakeholders
- Interest in government processes and public service

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $55,440.00 - $66,410.00
