Salary: $87,000 - $131,874

About the role:


We are in the market for a number of Project Managers ranging from Intermediate through to Senior to join our PMO – We are offering permanent role as well as Fixed term contracts depending on your preference. You will join a team of project managers and senior project managers who will be assigned to different project across the organisation.


You will be responsible for providing high quality advice and support to project-related personnel by assisting with the project planning and executing and implementing the project plan.


You will also need to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and to influence others and gain buy in to the project deliverables and desired outcomes.  Oranga Tamariki has an ambitious programme of change to manage.

Skills and Experience:


In order to succeed in these roles you will have:


  • Proven senior/Mid level project management skills and experience
  • Good knowledge of techniques for planning and delivering projects effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to see the "big picture" and understand the strategic context of projects
  • Proven decision-making experience and leadership
  • Proven experience in managing a range of outcomes focused business projects
  • Demonstrated ability to understand financial data and information, cost out all options and support recommendations with quantitative data
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
