Executive Assistant to Chief Executive



•    Key support role for Chief Executive and executive leadership team
•    Enjoy flexible working in our agency – we are open to part time hours
•    Fixed term parental leave cover until August 2023



About our role



This is an exciting, fixed term, opportunity for someone who is looking for the next step in their career.  The role is full time, but we are open to exploring options if you’d like to work part time hours. 



You will be supporting our Chief Executive and senior leaders by providing executive and administrative support.  This includes diary management, preparing correspondence, prioritising work, preparing agendas and taking minutes for Executive Leadership Team (ELT) meetings, and arranging events and travel.  



You will be part of a small and friendly administration team that works together closely to ensure the effective running of administration support for the agency.  



About you



You are experienced in providing high quality support to senior leaders.  You have attention to detail, an ability to prioritise work, and can anticipate the needs of leaders.  You are calm under pressure, have initiative, good judgement, and a high level of integrity.  



You will also have:


•    Excellent relationship management and communication skills with an ability to connect with people across the agency and external stakeholders
•    The ability to develop trust and credibility
•    Experience working as part of a team, with a great attitude and willingness to help 
•    Experience working in the public service would be helpful, but is not essential
