About the role 


You will work with job seekers to help them take up training, work readiness and employment opportunities.


The matching process involves screening, recruiting, and shortlisting candidates as well as matching job seekers from our database to vacancies provided to us by NZ employers. You will update and support employers and candidates throughout this process.

You will also engage directly with clients who call through our 0800 phoneline as well as manage client employment, education and training calls referred in from work brokers and case managers. You are confident in your ability to have a general conversation about employment and help clients who are seeking more information and help with applying for vacancies.


Key to success in this role is your ability to quickly build professional, collegial relationships as you work with Case Managers, Work Brokers and other MSD employees across the regions.



Hours of work


These are full time positions, working 37 hours and 55 minutes per week over 5 days Monday to Friday.  


As business demands and needs change, the occasional Saturday may be required. 

You will be rostered to work shifts, usually between 7am and 6pm. We work on a no surprises basis and will ensure that you will know your scheduled shifts well in advance.



About you


This is a fast paced environment, often with deadlines and changing priorities, so to be successful in this role you will be highly organised with your time management and also be solutions oriented.


You will bring attention to detail and take pride in being accurate in your work, and most importantly providing excellent client service.  


To succeed in this role you have a client first mindset to ensure a positive experience on the phone and enjoy quality conversations.  


Whilst not essential, some understanding or experience with recruitment coordination activities would be advantageous.

Starting salary of $54,707 with opportunities of pay progression in line with our progression guidelines.
