Contact Centre Engineer

We are looking for a team player who can bring their depth of technical experience as well as their solid interpersonal skills to Ministry of Social Development (MSD).

You will be responsible for providing senior level engineering support and be a unique individual who has a networking education along with hands on skills to back it up.

As part of our Contact Centre Engineer team, you will need to have the ability to handle multiple projects with varying networks and technology on a large scale, and solve issues effectively and efficiently. Time management and multi-tasking skills are key ingredients to this position.


We will rely on your ability to have not only solid verbal communication skills, but also excellent customer service skills.


Our Contact Centre Engineers are all about solving customer’s problems. Being a third level support for voice and data infrastructure, with a particular focus on contract centre technology, you will be someone who has an attention to detail, high energy and who has the ability to effectively communicate in a way that allows the customer to feel that that they are learning and being helped at the same time.


Your technology skills will include knowledge and experience in networking, contact centre technology
applications and IP Telephony.


You must have experience with Genesys Enterprise Routing and it would be an advantage if had experience with Genesys GVP/VWAP and Genesys Workforce Management and Verint Call Recording. Ideally you will be a GCE (Genesys Certified Engineer). Experience with Solaris, Windows, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server along with an understanding of JAVA and VXML principals would provide you with the depth of knowledge we are looking for.



Salary range: $98,348.00 - $120,203.00
