In this role, you’ll support the Transformation Programme to build and bed‑in a joined‑up Induction and Capability approach – linking MyHR, SFIA‑aligned role profiles, learning pathways and talent pools, to grow and keep the specialist skills we need.
About the role | Mō te tūnga:
You will work with colleagues and business teams to design and deliver learning solutions that meet clear organisational goals. This includes identifying critical capabilities for identified roles, curating learning pathways (using existing online modules) designing and building online modules, creating face to face workshops, and train the trainer materials. You will also help test and improve programmes, support trainers with resources and briefings, and embed te ao Māori in how learning is designed and delivered.
This role focuses on Learning and Development, contributing to the growth of critical talent such as Business Analysts, Service Designers, System Architects, Customer Experience Leads, Project Managers, and other transformational roles. You will support the setup of induction and career development pathways that align with our transformation programme.
You will be responsible for supporting the establishment of induction and career development pathways that support our transformation programme. You will work closely the Workforce Design team, with plenty of support from the wider Learning and Capability group.
What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga:
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Experience designing and deploying learning solutions in a large or complex organisation including the ability to develop new and innovative ways of learning design.
- Experience with using a range of learning technologies particularly system-based learning such as LinkedIn Learning, Percipio, and SFIA 9, the Skills Framework for the Information Age, would be an advantage.
- Confidence using e-learning tools, learning management systems, and multimedia resources
- Great organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a knack for making complex ideas easy to understand
- A track record of evaluating programmes and using feedback to improve outcomes
- Adaptability and a practical, solution-focused approach to challenges
- Integrity and the ability to handle sensitive information with care
- An understanding of te ao Māori and a commitment to supporting Te Tiriti o Waitangi in your work (desirable)
- A genuine spirit of service and commitment to making a difference for our people and communities

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $79,200.00 - $95,873.00
