Workplace Administrator - Youth Justice

The Youth Justice team in Te Tai Tokerau is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic individual who has excellent computer and administration skills and who thrives being part of a dynamic team.


You will be optimistic, able to relate well to rangatahi and their whānau and work alongside a variety of agencies. Flexibility, being creative and willing to go the extra mile for others will come natural to you.

About the role:
This is a challenging and varied role, where your ability to build quick rapport will put you in good stead. You will be responsible for a range of administration duties including; providing support to co-ordinators with their plans, assisting social work teams in managing client financial plans, maintaining reports, producing reports for management, keeping updated records on our information systems database and producing court lists and filing documents.
You will assist the team with a variety of practical tasks supporting rangatahi in the community. At times you will also support the Youth Justice Manager with administration duties as required.
On top of this, you'll have strong organisational skills, good attention to detail and draw on your problem-solving ability to find solutions to challenges within tight deadlines. You'll like dealing with people, provide excellent customer service to our sites and staff and positively manage internal and external business relationships with ease.
