Manager Client Service Operations - Blenheim

We have an opportunity to welcome a new person to our leadership team. This position will initially be based in the Blenheim City area, and is included within MSD’s Nelson/Top of the South region.  
 

Reporting to the Manager Client Service Delivery, the Manager Client Service Operations provides daily client facing operational leadership and management within the Service Centre, by maintaining a high-performance people centric culture that delivers the range of MSD services and products to clients, meets current and future expectations and demand for services, and contributes to sustainable client outcomes that align to MSD strategic priorities.

 

 

Using a people centric approach, you will:

 

  • be an innovative and inspirational leader who is constantly front and present in a busy service delivery environment
  • contribute to the management of feedback and reporting systems to monitor performance, ensuring that this is supported by coaching for high performance
  • lead the management and early resolution of complaints where possible through a people centric approach, including the identification of areas for improvement
  • lead and foster a wellbeing culture where people trust they can raise issues and individual strengths are leveraged

 

 

You have a vision of what a great working environment looks like and you are able to articulate how you respond effectively to the key priorities for the Top of the South Region and MSD.

 

 

Key attributes needed

 

  • Experience in responding to Māori, Pacific or people with disabilities
  • A client centric way of working
  • Experience in people leadership 
  • Relevant Stakeholder relationships and internal networks
  • Confidence in managing operations to achieve results
  • Is calm under pressure and solution focused 
  • Experience in delivering MSD Products and Services

 

 

 

Service excellence will resonate strongly with you, and you will play a key leadership role in an integrated services response, fostering an environment where social service agencies work together to achieve positive change in the lives of people, their families/whānau and their communities through the timely and seamless delivery of “client centred” services.

 

The Salary range is $85749 - $128623 per annum (in line with skills, experience, and performance).
