About this role:


EA roles like this don’t come along very often!   Working alongside our passionate and energetic East Coast Regional Manager, no two days will be the same. You’ll have fun, be challenged but also have a feeling of pride whilst you play your part in making a positive impact on the lives of NZ tamariki.   Having worked with in a busy administrative role previously, you will be able to bring your own energy to this EA role, but will understand the importance of getting the basics right. 


Our Regional Manager needs someone proactive that can help turn her manic schedule in to a structured, organised and well-planned day.  This will mean always being one step ahead to ensure her needs are met and all information and resources are at hand.   Your day will also be kept busy providing administrative support to the wider Regional Management team when required. Most importantly you will have a “can do attitude” and the willingness to go the extra mile whenever it is required.


The successful candidate will:


  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and know when to prioritise matters
  • Have experience with reporting and taking minutes
  • Be a self-starter who takes initiative to get things done
  • Incorporate our values and want the well-being of tamariki above all else
  • Demonstrate experience working at a senior level as an EA
  • Have a great attitude and willingness to help
  • Possess excellent people skills and an unflappable nature
  • Have proven organisational ability
  • Be able to communicate clearly both orally and written.
