- This role can be based at any location within the Bay of Plenty region, however regular travel to the Regional Office in Rotorua is required.
About our team | Mō te tīma:
The Early Response Team (The Team) is a dedicated team of MSD staff who are responsible for delivering Redeployment Support. This involves identifying and supporting people who are disadvantaged in the labour market to retain their employment or transition to new good and appropriate employment or upskilling opportunities.
These shifts focus on how MSD can become a trusted and proactive organisation, connecting clients to all the support and services that are right for them and improving the social and economic wellbeing of New Zealanders.
About the role | Mō te tūnga:
As an Early Response Work Broker, you will work in collaboration with your Early Response Team to develop and carry out a regional plan for the delivery of an effective end to end redeployment support service.
The Team has two core functions:
1. Delivering prompt tailored support for people at risk of job displacement
2. Gathering intel and opportunities to enable effective early intervention
The Team are one part of a broader ecosystem of supports, services, and opportunities for business and people at risk of job displacement. The Team will make a significant positive impact on individuals and communities, as you establish relationships and partnerships with various internal and external stakeholders to tailor services to meet people’s needs.
The team are mobile within the Bay of Plenty region to respond to job displacement where it occurs.

You must have strong people and influential skills and be able to negotiate outcomes. Having a background in business development, partnership management and/or, sales and account management or similar would be an advantage.
You enjoy using your initiative, be a self-starter, looking for and acting on opportunities, solving problems and have a positive can-do attitude.
You must enjoy building relationships and making new connections with people.

- Have a full and clean NZ Driver’s Licence

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $79,200.00 - $95,873.00
