About the Role



As the Programme Coordinator you will work closely with our Service Delivery teams to support clients to become work ready and independent by understanding their individual needs, assessing which products and/or services would be most beneficial to them, and referring them to the appropriate services. You will also keep frontline staff aware of opportunities by providing advice, information and support to MSD employees enabling clients to access opportunities that will support them to overcome barriers and move into sustainable future. 



You’ll build effective relationships with training providers, community groups and other key stakeholders in the region to help clients access services and move into employment. This role will see you become the “go to” person for contracted service providers on any day-to-day operational and performance matters. 



You will also work alongside others in the region to coordinate programme referrals and facilitate relationships between a cluster of sites and contracted providers. Part of this role is to also monitor programme referrals, attendance and client outcomes and report on effectiveness and outcomes of contracted services.



About you 



•    You are highly organised and methodical with demonstrated experience meeting deadlines and managing changing priorities. 
•    Your excellent communication and influencing skills are some of your key strengths as is your ability to build strong and effective relationships. 
•    You have good judgement, problem-solving ability, and marketing and promotional expertise.
•     This role involves frequent travel. You must have the ability and willingness to travel across sites in the Bay of Plenty area.  
•    Intermediate computer skills (particularly Excel) and the ability to pick up new systems and processes

⦁    A salary starting from $62,660 per annum (Band 4) depending on relevant skills, performance and other factors.
